About Jose Arredondo
Jose Arredondo was a respected member of the community, a philanthropist, and a man who devoted his life to helping the poor. Born on July 29, 1958, in Michoacán, Mexico, Jose was the eighth of 11 children born to Fidel and Maria Arredondo.
The Journey to Success
Jose came to the United States at the age of 11. He began his journey washing cars and, under the guidance of a mentor, worked his way up to become a car salesman. His hard work led to great success. In 1993, he purchased his first car dealership, Family Motors. He expanded his business portfolio to include other dealerships, real estate acquisitions, a golf range, and radio stations. Despite his success, he never forgot his roots, constantly providing scholarships for students and supporting local charities.

In July 2016, Jose purchased the property that now houses our foundation. He saw this building as a place for small business owners to grow and prosper alongside the community in Porterville, California.
Mentorship and Support
Jose loved meeting new people and learning about their dreams. He utilized the radio station to help business owners and was known for giving advice and wisdom to those who asked. We hope you enjoy the improvements Mr. Arredondo made to the property as we continue to keep his legacy alive.
